The Invisible life of Addie LaRue Book Review

This is the best book that I have read in 2021. V.E.Schwab literally took me to a different dimension. I am thinking of reading all the books that she has written.

This story is about a girl named Addie LaRue who lives in a village called Villon-Sur-Sarthe France. She has wild dreams but she is born in a restricted family. Rest of the story is about how she exchanges something very important to her freedom to a dark good. The story revolves around the struggle and beautiful experience of Addie LaRue. No one remembers except for one boy . A boy who works in a bookstore named Henry Strauss. This is such a wonderful book.

I just love each and every word of this book.If I havw to mention one. It would be the paet whwre ahe meets henry and how their broken pieces fit together perfectly. It is written in such a way that you won't be able to put down the book until you finish a chapter or the whole book. I will certainly reread the book several times!!

Here are some of my favorite quotes from the book

"She stares out at the expanse, the coastline giving way to water, and water giving way to sky. She has seen maps of course, but ink and paper hold nothing to this. To the salt smell, the murmur of waves, the hypnotic draw of the tide. To the scope and scale of the sea, and the knowledge that somewhere, beyond the horizon, there is more"

"He looks at her, and there it is again, that strange intensity, and maybe it’s just that so few people make eye contact in the city, but she can’t shake the feeling he’s looking for something in her face."

"Three small words, as rare as I remember you, and it should be enough—but it’s not"

"Live long enough, and you learn how to read a person. To ease them open like a book, some passages underlined and others hidden between the lines"

"I want to see you again,” says Henry.

"The hope fills her chest until it hurts. She’s heard those words a hundred times, but for the first time, they feel real. Possible. “I want you to see me again, too.”

"Food is like music, like art, replete with the promise of something new."

This is an adult fantasy book. If you love fantasy this is a book for you. Anyone who is new to this genre will love this book. It is an interesting book. It has spicy content too.

This story will be treasured in my heart. I saw parts of me in Addie and Henry.  I recommend this book to everyone.

Caution: This book will make you cry but it is worth it.
